Welcome to Core Studio in beautiful Byron Bay. In our fully equipped studio we offer Pilates, Therapeutic Exercise, Physiotherapy and Massage.
First established by Physiotherapists in 2000, Core Studio has continued to grow and evolve into the vibrant centre for movement and well being that it is today.
Located in the Arts and Industry Estate in Byron Bay, Core Studio is equipped with Pilates reformers, Trapeze tables, Wunda chairs, free weights, rollers and a private treatment room.
At Core Studio we believe exercise should be for everyone. We offer both private and group sessions to suit your individual goals and needs.

Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, Pilates is a conditioning program for the mind and body specifically targeting the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine. Pilates can help to improve strength, flexibility, co-ordination, efficiency of movement, balance and posture. Pilates is a safe and effective exercise system for all age groups and fitness levels.

Each Pilates session begins with exercises to centre the mind and body and warm up the joints. This is followed by exercises to Strengthen, stretch and tone the whole body and address any individual goals or problem areas.
If you are recovering from an injury or suffer from muscle or joint pain, our fully qualified Physiotherapists can devise a safe and effective exercise program to suit your individual needs.
*Health fund rebates are available for therapeutic exercise sessions
At Core Studio we also offer Traditional Physiotherapy for the treatment of both Acute and Chronic Injuries in our private treatment rooms.
Treatment may include:
- Joint manipulation
- Dry needling
- Exercise Prescription
All sessions are by appointment. All clients are required to start with a private assessment and introduction session. You can then discuss with your teacher which session is most suitable for you. If you have any injuries that may limit your capacity to exercise or that require specific attention, we strongly recommend that you work with a Physio.
